Frank Todaro calls on John Bruso to return Campaign Donations from Convicted Rapist Al Dirschberger

Lancaster, NY — Frank Todaro calls on John Bruso to return or donate campaign contributions taken from convicted rapist Al Dirschberger. On March 1, 2019 the former Social Services Commissioner was convicted of raping his 28 year old female subordinate at a work conference in Albany. Mark Poloncarz’s campaign went on record in a Wednesday Buffalo News Article claiming contributions from Dirschberger were donated to “worthy causes”, though campaign finance records do not indicate a large charitable donation (BN. 8.21.2019).
Frank Todaro is calling on John Bruso to return or donate the $250 contribution he accepted in September 2017 from Al Dirschberger. “Survivors everywhere should know that their elected leaders have integrity. John Bruso must return or donate the $250 he accepted from Al Dirschberger. This was a workplace assault, and it important an elected official makes the right decision in such a black and white situation,” said Frank Todaro.
Frank Todaro is the founder and President of Collision Masters, an auto body shop that employs 32 people. He is running for Erie County Legislator to restore fiscal discipline to Erie County, and to put his experience creating jobs to work for his district which includes Lancaster, Depew, parts of Cheektowaga, and Alden.
